The laptops that we use in class are called chromebooks. To turn them on, open the top lid. The screen will turn white and you will see the word Chrome in the center of the screen with the Google Chrome logo next to it.
At GCCAS we use google for a lot. To log in to your google account, use your gccas email which is your initials, your lunch number and the domain @gccas.org. For example, if my name is kelly smith and my lunch number is 123456 my gccas email would be ks123456@gccas.org. Your password is just your initials and your lunch number. In our exampole, the password would be ks123456.
We created typing.com accounts in class using a special teacher id link. When we created our accounts you should have created a username like first name_last name. If my name is Kelly Smith my username will be kelly_smith. Your password is the same as google, first initial, last initial, lunch number- ks123456.
